必要なところに物が集まってくるのか、着物や帯を人から頂くことが多いです。
最近はひとしきり来るところから集まってきたので、「もう、ないよなぁ」と思っていたのですが、縁あって丹後ちりめんの反物をいただきました。
京都の丹後地方が発祥の地ですね。
表面が独特の凸凹があって、水にあたると縮むことが特徴です。
天気予報で傘マークがあったらまず着用すること自体を控えます。

一度ちりめんの風呂敷を間違えて水に浸してしまったら本当にがっかりするくらい縮んでしまいました。

着物地っぽくってとても和風の味を出している生地です。
ちりめんにも何種類もあって特徴がありますね！
化繊にもちりめんの技術が使われているようです。
洗える着物などは風合いがそのような感じに見えます。
せっかくの出会いなので、最後に一枚仕立てようかなぁと考えているところです。
袷にしようか、単衣にしようか？？？？
染めるだけで十分です。地紋が入っていました。
また一つ楽しみができました！！
今時、オーダーメイドになるので、本当に贅沢なんですよね。
洋服を選ぶのが苦手なので、いつの日か着物だけの生活をしてみたいなと思っているのですが、最近の夏の気温にちょっと足踏みをしてしまいます。
どちらか一つにするととっても物が整理されるって聞いたんですが。。
江戸時代の頃に比べるとどのくらい気温が上昇しているんだろうって思います。
現実離れの考えなのかなぁ～
