どういうことなのかというと、こんな感じ↓
「異例」という表現が好き。

ニュースなどで「富士山で初冠雪が確認されました。」

という言葉を聞くこともありますが、2024年はまだ初冠雪を記録しておりません。近年、異常気象が頻発しており、季節の移り変わりが予測しづらくなっています。特に、2024年は世界各地で記録的な高温や豪雨が観測され、気候変動の影響が一層深刻化しています。富士山の初冠雪後に最高気温を記録するという現象も、その一環として捉えられます。

2021年の秋分の日は暑いです。朝からというより夜のうちから湿度が高まっていく気配を感じていました。

秋分の日は心を穏やかにして過ごしたいと願っています。いろいろと過去のことを振り返ったり、将来のことに思いを馳せたり。懐かしい音楽を聴いて当時の思い出が蘇えってくるのも、このタイミングだと新鮮さが強まっている感じがします。まるで自分が17歳の頃の感覚に戻っていたりするのですが、まあ錯覚です。

数日前からチェッカーズを聴いています。とても身近なところで流れていた音楽ですが、あらためて聞き込むと楽器の演奏といいヴォーカルとコーラスのバランスといいとても心地良いです。当時は歌として聞き流したりしていても現在では歌詞をネットで検索して読むことができます。耳で聞くだけだった歌詞とは違い、文字として並んだ言葉の詞は奥が深いですね。

さらっと流れていきますよ、秋空の雲も記憶も懐かしい音楽も。
温度計はすでに30℃を超えています。暑いな。でも風は涼しいような気がするので、真夏の厳しさとは一味違いますね。

2024年の夏は毎日暑いが続いてます。
全国の35℃以上の猛暑日の地点数は、5年間の平均ですと8月11日がピークとなります。
7月1日から9月30日までの猛暑日の地点数は、
2019年は合計3188地点
2020年は合計4747地点
2021年は合計2480地点
2022年は合計3141地点
2023年は合計7070地点
でしたが、8月16日までに
2024年は合計7042地点となっており、猛暑の夏です。

既にピークは過ぎているので、体調に気を付けて残りの夏を過ごしたいです。

好きな曲を何度も繰り返しきいたこともあれば、決して多い回数とはいえないのに強く印象に残っている曲もあります。チェッカーズの曲の中では断然「ギザギザハートの子守唄」が好きなんですが深く印象に残り続けた曲として挙げられるのは「夜明けのブレス」です。
昨夜は中秋の名月＆満月いかがお過ごしでしたか。久しぶりに「夜明けのブレス」を聴きました。ＭＶは初めてな気がします。

夜明けのブレスを演奏しているステージを見たとき、とてつもなく静謐に感じられました。1990年のリリースだったのか、と改めて気づいたところです。その頃は仕事終わりに仲間とドライブによく出かけたんですが、BGMをかけまくるときと全く音楽を聴かずにいるときの両方がありました。音楽を聴かずに外の空気感とか風の気配を聴いていたというか。音楽がないと自然や人の呼吸のリズムだとか血液の速さのようなメロディを体が感じていた気がします。カセットテープの音楽がない状態だからこその自然な音。で、車窓の彼方に空、ちらちらと海。夜明けを見たことがあったかどうかは定かではないですが、「夜明けのブレス」を聴くと『ああ、車で海に行って夜明けに流れてたなあ』なんていう気がしてくるわけです。心地良い錯覚。

実際に見ていたのは地下鉄から地上に出たときに見た朝の空と職場近くの海と運河の色。あの当時の日常の記憶と入り混じって、不思議な気分で聴き返しました。そうそう、チェッカーズ公式チャンネルが開設されたのでMVを見たところです。

さらに本日は「中秋の名月」なので、見事に輝く満月になりそう。

あいにく空模様どうなることかわかりませんが、雲の上の満月＆中秋の名月を想像するだけでもよさそうに思います。

ところで「中秋の名月」とは、どういう意味合いの言葉なんでしょう。

子供の頃から見たり聞いたりして馴染みまくっている言葉なので、きっとどこかで由来も聞いていると思うのですが今質問されても即答できる気がしませんでした。

そこでさささっと検索すると、


「中秋の名月とは太陰太陽暦の8月15日の夜に見える月のこと」

と出ました。ちょっと意外。旧暦とはいえ、8月15日。そう聞くと暑さの名残りも納得できてしまいます。先週あたりは寒かったのに今週はセミが盛んに鳴いています。昼間は気温が高くなりそうでも朝晩は涼しいので体調管理が必要ですね。

９／１６はマッチの日です。

歴史的に『配給制から自由販売に変わった』のが1948年9月16日なので、この日がマッチの日となっています。


「まっちのひ」と文字入力すると「マッチの火」が先に出ました。マッチの火、そういえばマッチってずいぶん使っていない気がする。かろうじてライターかな。なにしろ蚊取り線香も含めてレジャー関連で着火するときはチャッカマンばかり。


子供の頃は花火に着火するのもマッチでしたし、喫茶店などでマッチ箱をもらえたこともあって、実際に使うかどうかはともかく「マッチ」は身近な存在でした。


マッチで火をつけることもリアルに覚えていますが、マッチ箱を連想したときに蘇えってくる喫茶店やバーや懐かしい顔やら音楽で感情の波に溺れそうになります。

シュッ。

ちなみに日本でマッチ事業を始めたのが清水誠。金沢藩の出身で幕末から明治にかけて洋学を学び、フランス留学もしています。パリ工芸大学で学んだことが帰国後にマッチ事業を始めるのに役立ったようです。清水誠がフランス留学のために横浜を出航した日は明治2年5月12日で、その日も「マッチの日」になっています。


マッチの生産は兵庫県が断トツのようで、姫路市では地場産業のひとつです。そのあたりを詳しく紹介しているのが「電子じばさん館」で、そのなかでも紹介されています。

同じ意味合いの記念日が複数あるときは制定した人（団体や業界）が違うことが多いのでマッチの日もそんな感じでしょうか。
