瀬戸大橋からの夕日です。冬至の頃で、とても綺麗でした。
たまたま進行方向で夕日が見える窓際の席から摂った写真です。

乗っていたのはアンパンマン号です。
1日に数往復する路線でしたが、たまたまその時間帯に当りました。中の天井までアンパンマンだらけでした。
橋が好きなんです。建築物かと思いきや、構造物というそうです。

どうしてかは不明なんですけど。
一人旅をした時、工事中だったんです。
クレーン車が沢山あって、工事途中・・・
電車と車の２階層の橋を造るってちょっとした話題になっていた頃です。

工事中の時は連絡船？に乗って、四国に初上陸しました。

普通の定食屋さんの刺身定食がとても美味しかったのを覚えています。

瀬戸大橋はなぜかワクワク感が私の中にあります。

東京の築地の勝鬨橋と同じで、

以前は船が通る時に真ん中から跳ね上がる橋です。

近くに国鉄の駅がありましたが、昭和62年に廃線となりました。駅舎が残っています。

現在は、観光用に適宜、管理人の人が揚げてくれます。

時間は決まっているようですが、あって無いようなもので、

人がある程度いると時間外でも揚げてくれます。

気温も暖かくて、花見日和でした。

牛久シャトー Ushiku Chateau

JR常磐線の牛久駅に降り立つと、「シャトーロ」という表記が目につきました。

「しゃとーぐち」です。

駅の東口の愛称が「シャトーぐち」というわけで、「シャトー口」

牛久駅の東口から歩いて10分くらいでしょうか、「シャトー」があるからです。

現在は「牛久シャトー」と呼ばれています。

私が初めて見たときは「シャトーカミヤ」でした。

子どもの頃から『シャトー』の愛称で聞いているので、正式な名称を知ったのは、ずいぶん大人になってからのこと。

地元で愛され続けている場所です。

シャトーの名前があらわすように、西洋風の城という空気が漂っています。

美しい洋館。

かつてはトロッコが走り、収穫されたぶどうや、完成したワインが運ばれていたようです。

シャトーの敷地内、かつては賑わい、いつも売店とレストランが営業していました。

カフェもあったような気がします。そうそうパン屋もありましたね。ついに、あのパン屋さんには入ることがありませんでした。


私はシャトーの広い園内を歩いて、たしか屋台の料理を頂いたような気がします。

シャトーのレストランの出店だったような気がします。

その後、311で壊れてしまい、修復のために長らく白く覆われていましたが、ようやく修復作業が完了して、むしろ以前よりも色鮮やかに感じられるシャトーの本館の姿になりました。

2018年の年末で、レストランや売店は閉鎖。

2019年の3月の月末・週末、桜祭りが開催されました。

いつもなにげなく散歩して帰っていましたので、あまり詳しく知らなかったのですが、ソメイヨシノは200本あるそうです。

そろそろ満開。


桜の季節、せみしぐれの夏、紅葉の秋に、クリスマスシーズン。

そんなことを思い出しながら、

『いよいよ新しい元号の発表だなあ』

と、新年度に思いを馳せています。




いろいろなことがありましたよね、
