今年2024年の夏の土用丑の日は、

一の丑：7/24(水)

二の丑：8/5(月)

どっちも平日やん。

当日に焼けんやん。

なので、二の丑に先行して8/4(日)に焼いちゃいましょう、と。

朝4:30にさばいただけの生うなぎを調達。

全長約47cmの特大サイズ。

でも焼くと3割ほど縮むんですよね。

身も1cmちょっとと厚め。

これを晴天の真っ昼間(気温約36℃)に炭火を起こし、網で焼くわけで。

暑い・熱いで汗だくに。

でも、いい感じに焼けたのでは？

タレも自家製です。

丼からはみ出すお頭付き。

これで頭側半分。

われながら美味し。

手前味噌。

歌詞カードを見なくても、すらすら歌えるようになることがあります。

ところが何年か経過して、まったく歌詞が思い浮かばなくて、ふんふんふーんとしか歌えなくなることも。

子どもの頃に好きだった歌は、体に浸み込んでいる気がします。

大人になってからは、持ち歩いて聴きまくったりカラオケで歌っている時期はハッキリ覚えているのに。

ふと気づいたら『あれ。思い出せない！？』です。

フジファブリックの「赤黄色あかきいろの金木犀キンモクセイ」は、当時やたらと好きになって、頭の中で何度も再生させていました。ふとしたとき、よみがえるので。

久しぶりに歌詞カードを広げたら、

『こういう言葉だったんだ』
と新鮮に驚きました。

実を言うと、「歌で聴く歌詞」と、「目で見て読む歌詞」は、ぜんぜん印象が違います。

違和感なく歌を作って歌っているアーティストも多いのでしょうが、私は「声」と「楽器も含めて全体の音色」の印象が強くなるタイプなので、いつも歌詞うろ覚え。なんとなく響きと色で記憶しています。

だから歌詞に対して、かなり勝手な解釈をしていることだって、多いんじゃないかな。と思っています。アーティストに失礼でしょうかね、でも「聞き間違い」「空耳」も含めて、自分なりの感じ方を楽しんでも良いのではないかな～と考えているのでした。

フジファブリックの「赤黄色の金木犀」は、自然に歌を聴いていて、自然に口ずさんでいて、何度もリピートして聴いていたのに、歌詞カードを見たときに驚きがありました。

言葉の深さに、おののいてしまいます。

I remember them by the sound and color. So I think there are many times when I interpret lyrics in a very arbitrary way. I don't know if it's rude to the artist, but I think it's okay to enjoy your own way of feeling, including "mishearing" and "misheard words." When I heard Fujifabric's "Aka Kiiro no Kin Mokusei," I naturally listened to the song, naturally hummed along, and listened to it over and over again, but when I looked at the lyrics card, I was surprised. I was awed by the depth of the words.

CDショップで『フジファブリックの新曲だ』と見つけて、条件反射で買った一枚。

期待はずれじゃない名曲です。

本書が2016年6月に発刊されましたが、2017年5月に日銀のバランスシートが日本の経済規模（ＧＤＰ）を超えてしまうことが破綻に繋がるという主張でした。ドル・円レートを決定する８つのファクターの章が一番興味を引きました。

学生の頃の春は、どこかモノトーンの心象が強いです。
入学式や始業式の日に、桜は咲いていたでしょうか。
ましてや卒業式。
むしろ新しい生活が始まって、少し慣れてきたかなって頃に、ぱあっと。
学校の近くや、線路沿いの桜並木。空は白く曇っているほうが、桜の花びらの色がキレイに見えた気がします。錯覚かもしれません。たんに、曇りが多かっただけかもしれません。
だから青空の中に咲き誇る桜を目の当たりにすると、圧倒されてしまうのです。
春は、人生の節目となることが多くて、新生活の緊張感は強烈です。期待と不安に胸を躍らせながら、はやる気持ちを抑えていたような。
桜吹雪をくぐるときには、節目が過ぎて落ち着きと穏やかさが混ざり合っていたような気がします。

「桜の季節」の間奏が終わってから、ギターのカッティングが16ビートを快速列車のように刻み始めるのが好きです。
ゆっくり歩いていたはずが、いつのまにか急ぎ足になっていた、そんな通学路の記憶まで思い出してしまいます。

I like how, after the interlude of "Sakura no Kisetsu," the guitar starts to play a 16 beat rhythm like an express train. It even brings back memories of walking slowly on my way to school, when before I knew it, I was hurrying along.

やるせなくなる、春の名曲です。
