Idle Days - White Clouds Come and Go
8月になってあっという間に立秋になります。
掛け軸を変えそびれていました。
夏は月初めと月の終わりにお稽古日を集中させることが多いので、
「夏」を思いっきりテーマにして軸をかけていました。
白雲自去来（はくうんおのずからきょらいす）
「禅林句集」からの出典で対句になっているうちの一部です。
「青山元不動。白雲自去来」
白雲は煩悩のたとえで、雲は次から次へとわいて不安定であるが、
山は元来の姿でそのままどーんとしている
という感じの意味です。
できた人は周りに惑わされることなく、自分の信念はしっかりと
持って難関なことにぶつかった時こそ真価を発揮する・・
そんな自分でありたいです！！
雲のイメージは積乱雲を指しているのでしょうか。
最近の晴れの天気では立派な積乱雲がみえます。
そのあとにドシャーと雨が降ってムムっとした蒸し暑さが復活しますけど。
このどしゃぶりにあったときにも動じることなく冷静に対処しましょ！

香を入れるスペースは思ったより小さいです。
夏のイメージで海辺にいるような気分になります！
今年も梅雨明けは遅かったけれど、気温が上昇していますね！
まだまだ残暑は残ります。
体調に気をつけて暑さを乗り切りたいものです。

I hadn't had time to change my hanging scroll.
In summer, I often concentrate my lessons at the beginning and end of the month, so
I hung a scroll with a strong "summer" theme.
White clouds come and go (Hakuun onozukara kyoraisu)
This is part of a couplet taken from "Zenrin Kushu".
"Green mountains are immovable. White clouds come and go"
The white clouds are a metaphor for earthly desires, and while clouds are unstable,
the mountains remain in their original form and stand tall.
People who have achieved this are not swayed by others, and they hold firm to their beliefs, and they show their true worth when they encounter a difficult problem...
I want to be that kind of person!!
I wonder if the image of clouds refers to cumulonimbus clouds.
In recent sunny weather, you can see magnificent cumulonimbus clouds.
After that, it rains heavily and the muggy heat returns.
Let's remain calm and deal with this downpour without getting upset!
