日本の偽書として、東日流外三郡誌が有名なのは既に述べましたが、最近解説本が出版された偽書もあります。
椿井文書（サブタイトル：日本最大級の偽文書）が2020年の3月に出版されております。著者の馬場隆弘さんによると、国学者椿井政隆（1770～1837）の創作が数百点に上り、現在の史跡の指定にも影響しているとのことです。
