涸沼ひぬまは、茨城県茨城町にあります。

太平洋のすぐそば！
涸沼川が太平洋に流れています。
かつては海だったようです。
満ち潮のとき、海から涸沼川を逆流して海水が入ってきます。
淡水と海水が入り混じる環境は「汽水湖」と呼ぶらしいです。
Right next to the Pacific Ocean! The Hinuma River flows into the Pacific Ocean. It seems that it used to be the sea. At high tide, seawater enters the Hinuma River from the sea. The environment where freshwater and seawater are mixed is called "brackish lake".

アジサイの名所にも！

沼では漁業と、干拓による農業が盛んです。
湖畔（沼畔）は、キャンプ場が整備されています。
谷を利用して、植栽も。それがアジサイです。
およそ、1万株。
ひぬまアジサイまつりが開催されるようになりました。
Fishing and agriculture by reclamation are flourishing in the swamp. A campsite is maintained on the shore of the lake (swamp). You can also plant in the valley. That is hydrangea. Approximately 10,000 shares. Hinuma Hydrangea Festival is now held.

あじさいの散策路は、どんどん整備されている感じです。
年々、ちょっとづつ規模が大きくなっている気がします。
満開になるのは、7月になってからでしょうね。
ゆっくりめです。
ピンクのアジサイが多いと思います！
アジサイの花の色は、土壌の酸性アルカリ性による影響なので、かなり計画的に手入れしているのではないでしょうか。
区画ごとに色が異なっていたり、楽しめます。
なお、
ピンクのアジサイの花言葉は「元気な女性」だそうです。

しじみが旬！しじみ汁を
Shijimi is in season! Clam soup

1杯おそらく100円です。たぶん。超ヘルシー！
涸沼は「やまとしじみ」「ひぬまやまとしじみ」という巨大しじみの産地です。
「土用の丑」＝「うなぎ」のイメージが強いですが、土用の時期のしじみは体に優しくて栄養価が高いといわれています。
地元では、「土用しじみ」と呼んでいて、旬の美味しさを味わえます。
6月～8月が、しじみの旬です。
One cup is probably 100 yen. maybe. Super healthy! Hinuma is a production center of giant clams called "Yamatoshijimi" and "Hinuma Yamatoshijimi". The image of "day of the ox" = "eel" is strong, but it is said that the clams during the period of soil are kind to the body and have high nutritional value.
