飛鳥山公園のモノレール「あすかパークレール」は、通称・アスカルゴ。
「あすか」と「エスカルゴ」をかけた名前ですね。
飛鳥山は春は桜の名所、あじさいが咲き誇る梅雨の季節も人気。
そのちょうど中間に、つつじの見ごろが訪れます。

新緑に彩られた斜面を、ゆっくり登っていくアスカルゴ。
くどいようですが無料です。
モノレール沿いは、つつじが植えられていますので、タイミングがあえば「まっか！まっしろ！あすかるご」な状況を満喫できます。花ざかりです。
