「7th AVE.」は、ニューヨークのセブンスアベニューそのままをタイトルにしている曲ですよね？
ニューヨーク、マンハッタンの西側を南北に走っている通りです。
アルバム「Realism」がリリースされた1988年当時は、日本人アーティストにとって『ある種の別格』だったエリアではないでしょうか。
ファッションの最先端であり、すでに日本人に馴染みのある映画・文学・音楽の作品群に、たびたび登場しています。
「セブンスアヴェニュー」という言葉そのものが、何かの象徴でした。
