この後の本文とは何も関係がありませんが。

先日、縁あってポツダム宣言の説明文を作成しました。


高校の頃、日本史の先生がなぜか太平洋戦争の終戦記念日の日付を
毎回テストに出してました。

だから、０点になる人は皆無だったんです。


どうしてだったのかよくわからないのですが、
なぜかとってもこだわっていました。


不思議・・・・


1年間、その付近の歴史の授業ばかりで、前にも先にも進まなかった
ような気がします。


どちらかというと年配の先生だったので、戦時中の体験をしたのかも
しれません。


その思いがどこかにあって、毎回「1945年8月15日」を回答する問題が
あったのかも？？？


でも大学受験はそれだけでは通用しないし、（当時は）共通一次を
受ける人たちはせっせと自分で勉強していた。



説明文を書くので、「ポツダム宣言を読もう」という本を
図書館から借りてきました。


ポツダム宣言自体を始めて読みました。無条件降伏をを促す13項目の
内容です。


ポツダム宣言という言葉は知っていても、中身は知らない
ただの言葉の知識であったことを痛感しました。


日本からの回答が誤訳されたという話も。。。。


最近読んだ本で、歴史がどんどん変化していることにビックリして、
知らないことだらけであることを感じていたので、
本当にそうなんだと改めて思わされる機会になりました。
