Hamanasu no Seiはまなすの精
このあたり、かつて塩づくりが行われていたと聞きました。
Hamanasu no Sei is surrounded by the scent of the tide. I heard that salt was once made around here.
ひたちなか市では現在でも「藻塩」が製造され続けています。
美味しいんですよね、海藻の風味なのかミネラルたっぷりで。
製塩で海藻も燃やすので、自然にミネラルが塩に含まれるのだそうです。
ついこのまえまでキッチンに「白亜紀の藻塩」が残っていたように思うのですが、もう使い切ってしまったでしょうか。さて。
茨城県の東側は太平洋に面していて、ずっと海岸線が続いています。
ずいぶんまえのことですが仲間と海岸線を、
「歩いてみよう」
ということになって、
銚子から大洗まで目指したことがあります。
ずっと海岸線を歩けるかと思っていたのですが、
途中で内陸に入って道路を歩いたような記憶もありますが、
定かではありません。
定かでないという意味では、
一日で歩いたのか、
途中で野宿をしたのかもわかりません。
というのも、
仲間と再会して話をするたびに、
全員の記憶てんでバラバラだからです。
当時は写真も動画も残していなかったので、記憶だけ。

Because Every time I meet and talk with my friends again It's because everyone's memory is disjointed. At that time, I didn't leave any photos or videos, so I just remembered it.

「はまなすの精」は、
いつからその場所に立っているのでしょう。
広々として風の強い渚で、
どこか近寄りがたい神々しさがあります。
「近寄ってみたいけど、近づけない」と記憶しています。
それなのに「みんなで行ったよ」とか。
ああ。
記憶って。
ある年の夏に、サメが現れました。それも、たくさん。
遊泳禁止になったのかな。
記憶の中の海水浴場は、遠くて広い印象です。
海も素晴らしいのですが、砂浜も圧倒的。
ただひたすら広くて、
異世界の砂丘のように砂が視界を遮っていて、
途方もない気持ちになりながら。
時間の感覚が麻痺してもなお歩いていると、
とつぜん視界が開けて、
果てしない水平線を仰ぎ見て愕然とするような。
タイミングも重要です。
混んでいるときと、空いているときの落差が激しいので。
海と風と陽射しに包まれているうちに、
潮の香りに圧倒されます。
気持ちが圧倒されてしまうのです。
あらがって砂浜を駈け出そうとするのですが、
歩くのがやっと。
意外と歩きにくいのです。
だから、
『駈けたよ』
『歩いたよ』
『波打ちぎわには行ってないよ』
『足を濡らした記憶がない』
と、
同じ時間を過ごした仲間たちとの記憶ですら、一致しません。
それぞれ好き勝手に過ごしていたのだという気もしますが、
どうなんでしょうね。
ただひたすら、満喫するだけの時間。
そうそう。
春なのか夏なのか、
初夏なのか夕立が降ったのかさえも、
あいまいです。
風が冷たかったようにも、
海水がぬるく感じられたようにも、
いろいろです。

My feelings are overwhelmed. I'm trying to get out of the beach, but I can barely walk. It's surprisingly hard to walk. that's why, "I've run" "I walked" "I haven't been to the waves" "I don't remember getting my feet wet" When, Even memories with friends who spent the same time do not match. I think they were spending their time as they like, How is it? It's just time to enjoy it. Oh yeah. Is it spring or summer? Whether it's early summer or even the rainy rain It's ambiguous.
