緊張感のある試合展開が続きましたが、８回に強烈な右がヒットしてフルトン選手をマットに沈めました。 年末までにWBA・IBFタイトルも掛けて４団体統一戦が開催される楽しみが出来ました。
In the boxing WBC/WBO world super bantam title match challenged by Naoya Inoue, he defeated Stephen Fulton by TKO in the 8th round.
